My hometown The Hague and especially the seaside neighbourhood Scheveningen, was once again the finish for the Volvo Ocean Race. One of the sponsors is Grohe and they needed a commercial they could present at business events, Instagram and other intern use.
I personally love sailing and the vastness of the sea and oceans so it wasn’t that hard to get inspiration for a dramatic but driving piece of music. To finish it of I used some field-recordings I made some time ago when I was experimenting with putting a condom on a mic and throwing in water. Never thought it would end up in a video like this!
